Forfront is looking for Lead Generation Executive with experience in complex solution sales to public sector organisations. 

 

Basic salary: £3035k 

OTE: £50k (quarterly commission + annual bonus) 

 

WHO WE ARE 

For over 20 years, Forfront has been developing software solutions for Government and businesses. We help organisations meet complex, business-critical requirements. Forfront has also developed its own SaaS, e-shot™, secure communication platform trusted by the public sector to deliver highly effective email and SMS.  

 

Forfront is looking for a Business Development Executive to work as part of a small sales and marketing team and to help secure new public sector customers for e-shot. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the e-shot™ platform and how it can be used 

  • Liaise with customers and prospects by telephone, email and in online meetings 

  • Scope and record requirementsunderstand needs and present solutions and recommendations 

  • Organise lead nurture activities 

  • Participate in tenders and other forms of procurement exercise 

  • Demonstrations using online meetings 

  • Build and manage a pipeline of new business 

  • Help to close new business opportunities in line with company targets 

  • Provide accurate forecasts and reporting as requested by the management team 

  • Responsible for ethical behaviour and maintaining integrity at all times 

  • Present and represent Forfront professionally 

 

THE CANDIDATE 

The successful candidate needs to be tenacious, yet patient and able to progress sales opportunities over extended timelines. Coming from a consultative sales background would be essential to be able to fit in with the sales process. Although tasked with an individual target, you will be part of a team and expected to work in a collaborative and supportive manner with the rest of the company. 

 

You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be comfortable dealing with senior management and procurement contacts. You must have proven experience in presenting, conducting meetings, demonstrating and negotiating.

PROBATION 

3 months 

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION AND KNOWLEDGE 

  • Sales skills including telemarketing, need development, objection handling, negotiation and closing techniques 

  • Basic CRM and project management  

  • Experience in public sector procurement 

  • Exposure to digital marketing and email marketing would be an advantage 

  • Due to the nature of our clients’ work, we may need to carry out additional background checks including DBS clearance 

 

WORKING HOURS, PATTERNS, ENVIRONMENT 

You'll usually work 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. 

You'll usually work in our Epsom office and may occasionally have to travel to meet customers and attend events.
